Agricultura y Pesca

Debido al no muy extenso término municipal que posee Algeciras y a su condición especialmente forestal,  la superficie dedicada a la agricultura es mínima.

Tradicionalmente la pesca ha sido una de las actividades económicas más importantes de la ciudad en virtud a la situación de su puerto como lugar de desembarco para productos del mar tanto desde el océano Atlántico.

Agriculture activity is not important in overall production of the city because of its small size and heavily forested areas.

Traditionally, fishing has been one of the most important economic activity in the city because of its location. Its port is a place where seafood is brought from the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
