Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora de la Palma:

Del siglo XVIII construida sobre una mezquita anterior. Su origen real es mucho más antigua pues fue Alfonso XI quien, tras conquistar Algeciras mandó convertir la antigua mezquita en catedral, pero en el siglo XIV la ciudad desapareció y con ella, este monumento religioso que se construiría posteriormente y al igual que la primitiva se dedicó a Nuestra Señora de la Palma.

Capilla de Nuestra Señora de Europa:

Del siglo XVIII, aunque, como la Iglesia Parroquial, se edificó antes pero el terremoto de Lisboa de 1755 afectó gravemente a su estructura y hubo que reconstruirla. Cuando se perdió la soberanía sobre Gibraltar la imagen de Nuestra Señora de Europa se traslada a esta capilla, para ser devuelta más tarde quedando aquí una réplica.

Capilla  del Santo Cristo de la Alameda:

Data del año 1776 y antaño era un Oratorio dedicado al Cristo de la Misericordia, cuyo nombre popular es de la Alameda. Es de estilo neoclásico con elementos del barroco

Religious monuments

Church of Our Lady of The Palm:

This church was built in the eighteenth century above an ancient mosque. Its actual origin goes back even to before then when Alfonso XI conquered Algeciras and converted the old mosque into a cathedral. In the fourteenth century, though, the city disappeared, and with it, this religious monument, which was later rebuilt (and is the one you can see now) and, like the original, dedicated to Our Lady of the Palm.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Europe:

Dates back to the eighteenth century as the Parroquial church. This chapel was built before the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, which severely damaged its structure and forced it to be rebuilt. When sovereignty over Gibraltar was lost, the image of Our Lady of Europe was moved to this chapel. It was later returned to Gibraltar, and now the image in this chapel is only a replica.

The Chapel of the Holy Christ of the Alameda:

This chapel dates back to the year 1776 and was once an oratory dedicated to the Merciful Christ, otherwise known as the Alameda. It is build in a classical style with Baroque elements.
